While analysing the punch needle, the similarity with tattooing striked me. The functionality of a tattoo gun & a punch needle is almost the same. Both tools are used for drawing a picture with a moving needle on a medium.

To highlight these similarity, I changed the methaforical layer of the punch needle. I made a custom tattoo/ embroidery gun out of it.

This probe questions the associations both techniques bring to mind.
